Laptop computers are nowadays a must have device because they can offer us many advantages. The most important advantage that a laptop has to offer is portability. Being able to carry our computer with us everywhere we go is an important thing. Nowadays there are out on the market many types of laptop having many sizes…
from the smallest to the biggest and from the less powerful to the last generation one. The last trend in laptop computers is to have one of the most recent launched touch screen laptops. The idea of touch screen laptops is quite new and in my opinion is was inspired by touch screen mobile phones that everybody wants one nowadays.

These touch screen laptops are almost the same with the classical ones. The only thing that is new is the touch screen. Using such a portable computer is just like using an iPhone because both function on the same criteria. HP announced their touch screen laptop computer at the end of 2008 in December. They called it the Touchsmart tx2. From the points of view of many critics and computer users, this laptop is a good one even though it works on touch screen.

A good thing about it is that is has the classical keyboard too in case you have to write a lot because the touch screen doesn’t offer you the same typing agility. HP Touchsmart tx2 starts from the price of 1.100 dollars and goes higher depending on your desired specifications. Its base configuration is a very good one and the built quality is good also. The Touchsmart tx2 comes equipped with Genuine Windows Vista® Home Premium 64-bit with Service Pack 1, an AMD Turion™ X2 Ultra ZM-82 processor, 2.20 GHz 2 MB L2 Cache, 4GB of DDR2 memory, 320 GB internal memory, CD / DVD drive, memory card device, wireless and Bluetooth, the display size is 12.1″, ATI Radeon™ HD 3200 Video Graphics, and many other great specifications. All in all it has very good specifications and I am sure that it works just fine.

The only problem on this touch screen laptops market is that there are many people who just hate the idea of using a touch screen device. There just are not comfortable using one including myself. I can’t say I hate this kind of devices because I don’t… I just prefer using the keys in place of my fingertip. I don’t know how much success these laptops will have but I am sure that they will be bought in large numbers by many people across the world. In conclusion, touch screen laptops are a new thing for many of us and from my point of view, it will last a short period of time until people will buy them in large numbers.

I think Dell is the only choice when you consider buying a touch screen laptop. If you can afford more the best option is to go for a Apple ipad or Samsung Tablet
