Sony VAIO Z51, one of Sony notebooks, a new laptop for business people. Sony announced the VAIO Z51, a new portable system, for business people and professional users. The casing is made of carbon fiber and aluminum. All details are completed thoroughly aesthetic: the support surface is coated with aluminum hands and the silent keys are placed at exact distances from each other, and are slightly concave to allow rapid use, are accurate and comfortable. Anti-reflective screen X-black LCD measures 13.1 inches, with an extra wide resolution of 1600×900. Also VAIO Z51 model provides mobility to the 1.5 kilograms, as it weights.

To extend as far as it can the battery life, notebook integrates a hybrid graphics system. In this way, users can choose between GPU NVIDIA GeForce 9300M GS graphics for proper complex and extensive autonomy facilitated by the integrated Intel graphics solution. Switching from the GPU is dedicated to the integrated automatically, without having to restart the system. Finally, the model also comes with an HDMI output. VAIO Z51 receive input processor Intel Core 2 Duo P9700 2.8 GHz Intel Centrino 2 platform, which ensures rapid processing of multiple applications, a period of extended life battery, and wireless network with 3G WWAN. For data security VAIO Z51 is equipped with a set of interrelated protective devices. Physical protection of information security is provided by the hard drive (with G-Sensor HDD system), which is able to detect sudden movements and protect immediately the writing area and the heads. The authentication system is based on fingerprint recognition and the notebook does not allow access for unknown users, while the system Trusted Platform Module (TPM) encrypts data and passwords, rejecting unauthorized access.

Sony Vaio AW shows fascinating on the outside and in the case hides top components, able to cope with any game and any type of existing applications currently. Although it is not small, Vaio AW is so shapely as any other competitor notebook sitting next to him seems manufactured with technology dating back to prehistory. It has no shiny (glossy) surfaces. On such a notebook only those of forensic could discover fingerprints. Once opened, you can remain impressed by the huge display with 18.4 inch screen sizes, by the QWERTY keyboard that is excellent spaced and seconded by the Numpad. Above it there are placed a series of touch-sensitive media keys, the fingerprint scanner and above there are the speakers.

A small inconvenience is given by the positioning of two of the three USB ports, somewhere down the right side of the computer. Inserting a memory stick or a receiver on those ports creates a discomfort if you use your mouse with your right hand – you have to depart arms more. On Sony Vaio AW you can play the hottest game titles at high resolution and medium details. Those who wish to give off the classic desktop PC and use a desktop replacement solution, I highly recommend Sony Vaio AW laptop. In terms of design, construction and performance I can say that it approaches to the ideal. Graphics chipset, although it is not next generation, successfully cope with the games, and the relatively modest touchpad is irrelevant when it comes to laptops that replace desktop system. More than likely, the overwhelming majority of users will use the mouse. As processing power, you have the performance guarantee given by a Core 2 Duo T9400, one of the most capable CPU’s today.

Sony Vaio FW, another sony laptop computers, offers close performance to those that the WA admiral is offering, but in a slim body. Unlike the WA, Sony Vaio FW has a 2 inch smaller screen (16.4 inches) and identical resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). Still at the differences chapter is noted the ATI Mobility Radeon 3650 graphics card, similar in performance with the nVidia 8600M GT solution. Finally, we see a more compact case that makes the Sony Vaio FW to be more easily transported. The notebook is solid and looks good, even if the silver on the case fades in front of the sober black of the WA model. Color carcass is still one detail that depends on each of us preference. Some people might like it. The keyboard, as expected, is excellent, while the navigation pad is presented decently.

It would have been great if Sony provided us a multi-touch pad technology. Also, at the FW we see the same location somewhat uninspired of two of the three USB ports, in the right part, somewhere at the base, so if you use a mouse while you are connected to one of those portals stick memory it will be uncomfortable. The screen with XBRITE technology is great. The quality is admirable, as is the viewing angle. Full HD native resolution is just right for those of its 16.4 inches, so you do not tire your eyes when you work or stay on the Internet. In performance tests, Vaio FW did very well and made just over the Vaio AW, where the processor mattered more: at archiving and playback the High Definition content. It is possible to matter here the Vista 64-bit platform, which uses all 4 GB of RAM, while the 32-bit versions only recognize 3 GB. In games, card Radeon 3650 is much weaker than the 9600M GT.

Is has the size of a digital assistant, it has a 4.5-inch diagonal screen, Intel Core 2 Solo 1.2 GHz but supports Core 2 Duo. The hard disk is of 48GB with SSD technology, but supports one of 128GB also. The basic version had 512 MB of RAM, but it supports 1GB of RAM. It can run Windows 7, Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS. If they did this, definitely runs on Android, Chrome OS and so on. Sony Vaio UX is like an Ultra portable mobile computer and it weights around 490 – 544 grams.
