Only Best Laptops

In a society where technology dictates the course of actions, we find ourselves surrounded by machines that are built to do repetitive and hard labors instead of humans. This is a clear sign of our evolution and I have absolutely no doubt that within a few couple of years, the cutting edge technologies of today will become obsolete. This is part of the continuous flow of new inventions and research. Every single one of these machines are controlled by a computer. It is like they have their own brain which operates using the binary system and tells them what to do.  We can talk about a great variety of machines some more complex than others. While in factories we have robot arms controlled by a single chip the advanced computer technologies used by NASA for example are mind boggling. Computers aren’t only used for mass production or research, they are also used for personal use and entertainment. In this case we are entering a new sphere of technology and we talk about desktop systems and laptops.

Laptops are main trend of the 21th century society. They are compact, easy to carry and sum up all the advantages that a desktop computer offers. Some offer even more that this.

With the rapid growth of industry and technology it’s hard to say that a laptop is one of the best rated laptops in the world, but I will try and present some systems that caught my eye while browsing the internet.

The first laptop that caught my eye was the Alienware Mistique. The price speaks for itself, this system ranges between $1500 and $4000, depending on the performances. Anyway it’s safe to say that it is virtually impossible to find a better built, or faster 15 inch notebook system. Its performances speak for themselves. Having a 2.0GHz Intel Core i7-920XM processor, 4GB, 1,333MHz DDR2 of memory, a hard drive of 500GB 7,200rpm and a 1GB Nvidia GeForce GTX 260M graphic card, it’s safe to say that you can’t find a better system with ease. Also the fact that it weights only 9.4 pounds makes this system unbeatable.

Another system that its worth noticing is the T135-S1310, which, for only 800$ it has a dual-core SU4100 processor, outperforms nearly every thin-and-light we’ve seen lately. It has 4GB, 1,066MHz DDR3  memory, a hard drive of 320GB 5,400rpm and a Intel GMA 4500MHD graphics card. This makes this system very reliable and if we look at the price to performance ratio we can see that it is very favorable.

Least, but not the last I’d like to talk about the HP Mini 311, a real state of the art system which offers incredible performances and quality at the incredible price of only $399. With the 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, 1GB, 1066MHz DDR2 of memory, an integrated HP graphics card and a hard disk of 160GB 5,400rpm, this easy to carry system is no doubt one of the best rated laptops.

These are only a few of the systems that I thought may consist a good buy if we look at the price to performance ratio. I hope you will make the right choice.

Nowadays laptops are all around, you see people carrying them on the street, wi-fi locations are full with people carrying one, this technology has spread rapidly during the course of the past years. Laptops come in many sizes, varying from 10 inch mini-laptops to 21 inch or even bigger. When it comes to performance the variety of systems you can find is incredible. As I said, the market offer in this particular domain is outstanding. You can find outstanding systems with cutting edge hardware performances that could satisfy even the most passionate gamer, but at the same time you can find systems that are mostly used for web browsing, mailing, instant messaging  and other tasks that don’t require gigabytes of ram.

These lesser advanced systems are, of course, cheaper than their 2GB graphic cards cousins but this is no reason to count them out as they can prove very useful when it comes to writing documents, e-mailing and connecting to the internet. Again, these things can be done without any problem on the more expensive systems but the financial aspects barge in. A high-performance system can range between $1500 and $3500.    These numbers are quite astonishing because if we take a peek at a laptop with a 1.2 GHz processor, 1gb RAM memory and a hard drive of 200gb , a decent system without any doubts, and find out that it costs somewhere in the neighborhood of 700$.Now the question which springs in mind is “What are the best laptops for internet and mailing?” Just to name a few of these systems.

Here is one example : Intel Core 2 Duo processor T6570 (2.1GHz 800MHz 2MBL2) , Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD,Gb Ethernet, WWAN support, 2 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (1 DIMM). If this one seems too expensive, here’s another example : Intel Core 2 Duo Processor P8600 (2.40GHz 1066MHz 3MBL2) 25W, 2 GB PC3-8500 DDR3 SDRAM 1067MHz SODIMM Memory (1 DIMM), Intel Graphics Media Accelerator x4500HD with vPro. There two are no doubt some of the best laptops for internet and email that exist on the market and fit within almost any budget. Of course if these two don’t fit your likings you can always browse your local IT shop and find the system that fits your likings.



Don’t think that those systems are the best laptops for internet and mailing. There are plenty more and probably more affordable that the upper-mentioned ones. If you are planning to buy a laptop first ask yourself what do you need it for. If the answer is gaming or entertainment then you need a more advanced system. Contrary, if you need your laptop for internet and mailing you need a lesser advanced system, and of course the prices will evolve accordingly.

OK son, you’ve grown up, time to go to college. “But dad…”. Here’s your money.. ”But dad…” Here’s your food … “But dad…” Ok fine here’s your car … “But dad..” Yes son? “I want a laptop!”.

Of course that conversation is complete fiction because in the real world the conversation would have ended by the time the car was mentioned. Anyway buying a laptop for their children when they ho to college is something every parent will do. Here are a few guidelines which I hope will be very useful when it comes to buying a laptop.

Nowadays, by spending somewhere between $700 and $3,500 you can buy a laptop with a dual-core CPU and enough power to run productivity applications, view and edit vacation photos, manage MP3s and videos, and even play many of today’s games,  the general purposes that a PC user invests money in such a system. At $1,000 and up, you should easily be able to perform those tasks. Spend around $700, and in most cases you’ll still be able to run common tasks without delay, although when it comes to 3D gaming you can’t be as flexible as if you had an over $1000 system. Another important aspect when it comes to buying a system is that you have to be sure the computer is equipped with at least 1GB of memory, a 128MB graphics card, and you’ll get a laptop that, for its price can be very reliable and fast.

Here are a few systems that are definitely worth mentioning.

The HP Mini 5102 priced at $399 will have a 1.66GHz Intel Atom N450 processor, 1 GB of RAM, a 160GB,7200rpm hard drive and a 4 cell battery is definitely worth buying if you are looking for one of the best laptops for college students .

Another system worth watching is the Philips X59, which comes with the Intel Core 2 Duo T5500 processor 1.66 ghz. It has several attractive and useful features. It’s reduced dimensions of only37mm x 297 mm x 213 mm, the X59 can is a very trendy laptop today. It weighs only 1.89 kg making it extremely portable.

Any of these two can easily be considered, if we look at the price and performances, one of the best laptops for college students in the world.

It is possible that these systems aren’t exactly what you need. There is absolutely no doubt that you can find better systems or even cheaper systems than these mentioned by me. All you need to do is a small research on the internet, then a little browsing around your local IT store and I’m sure you’ll find the system that matches your needs and, of course your budget.
