People are interested in performance for the best price. Best cost effective laptop computers are what people are looking for these days. In this article on best cost effective laptop computers I will make a presentation of Apple MacBook Air, a laptop that has it all: design, performance and durability.
The Apple MacBook Air is a subnotebook small enough to fit within a paper envelope for letters. The smallest laptop in the world. A computer characterized by design and high quality materials that compose it. In the box as well, of course, the MacBook Air will have a mini-DVI adapter for DVI and VGA, a microfiber cloth to wipe the monitor, installation CD, user manual.
Performance
The Apple MacBook Air is equipped with a special Core two Duo processor. It is a Merom processor at 1.6 GHz equipped with 4 MB L2 cache, but is 60% smaller than standard Core 2 Duo. Performance is certainly lower than in other MacBook and MacBook Pro, this is due to lower processor clock. However, this performance makes the computer enough for normal office applications and surf the internet.
After an intensive use of computers we measured a maximum temperature of forty degrees. This does not make entirely comfortable using the laptop resting on his legs.
Design
The MacBook Air Case is distinguished by its super slim design, clean, linear, light, white. One gets the impression that the Macbook Air has been forged into a single piece of aluminum. The material used is undoubtedly of high quality. There are shortcomings, finish are excellent. Despite its subtlety, the MacBook Air appears to be quite resistant to pressure.
If we must find fault say that the opening mechanism limits the maximum opening angle of the monitor, a feature, moreover, common to all MacBook. If you work with this notebook using your legs as a table top, this limitation could be annoying. The monitor is kept closed by a magnetic mechanism.
The keyboard of the MacBook Air has normal size, consists of buttons with size 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm. and is very user friendly. Some special keys are illuminated. The touch pad can be used easily and accurately presents the new features Multitouch as zooming and browsing.
Display
The MacBook Air has a 13.3-inch backlit display with a resolution of 1280 × 800. Despite a glossy surface, the MacBook can also be used outdoors with sunlight because it does not exaggerate with the reflexes. The contrast is 722:1. The viewing angles are good.
Noise
Overall, the MacBook Air is very noisy. The hard drive Samsung 1.8 “60 GB feels just only if the environment is totally silent. If you watch a film is likely that your computer is overheating and there is fan noise.
Audio
The sound of Apple MacBook Air acceptable but not optimal for listening to music, but with the use of headphones, everything changes and even listening to music the sound comes clear and clean.
Concluding Remarks
The Apple MacBook Air laptop is a truly innovative, elegant, functional, lightweight, very thin but at the same time very robust. Only problem with this MacBook is the limited number of interfaces but with performance and size cannot ask for more.

When I first tested a MacBook (the unibody model launched in 2008) I was amazed by the design and quality of construction but, as a user of Windows, I encountered difficulties in adapting to the operating system platform Mac OS X.
Now, the interaction was more balanced. I can no longer deliver some superlative words about how good it looks and how compact it is, because the one released in 2009 is not much different from the version put on the market in 2008. Instead, I got used to the operating system and I can tell you in all sincerity that I like it more and more, every day. Do not get me wrong. The laptop is not perfect – neither in design nor in the hardware and the operating system. Therefore I started to write this review, to tell you about these little flaws – as well as about the strengths. Let’s start with design.
Imperfections for a perfect look
After I offered my eyes a treat by watching it and turning it on all sides, I found a few drawbacks. I was no adamantly looking for flaws or anything, I just noticed them as I was playing around with the laptop:
-the lower end of the keyboard ends at right angles, which causes you some discomfort because that is exactly where the wrists rest;
-when you hold it on your lap, the laptop heats up quite strongly on the left side which, again, is an element of discomfort. This happens because of insufficient ventilation. One ventilation port is located on the top edge just under the display. Hot air is discharged directly on frame, as well as on the screen. With older models, in time, this air started leaving some black marks on the computer in the hot air evacuation areas, but let us hope that this is not the case here, with this particular model;
-The computer has no status LED for the hard drive disk and wireless connections.
Some have criticized the keyboard (arrows and Enter crowded in small places), while others expressed their desire to buy the black version of the Macbook. Unfortunately, there is no black version for this computer. I personally am not bothered by the keyboard or the fact that it only comes in white. I am sure that only a small fraction of users would find these things as bothersome enough to be considered shortcomings.
Overall, the design is a 9 out of 10, and the only ones that can compete with the MacBook are the Sony Vaio laptops, and maybe Adamo from Dell, but the latter costs at least twice as much.
Let’s be clear: you cannot speak of the best business laptop computers without the MacBook Air, and the best business laptop computers get some fierce competition from this item, which is small, light, but extremely powerful and fun to use. Who could ask for more?

Asus Laptop Computers

It has been a while since gamers have been taken into consideration by the makers of laptops, and companies have started looking towards this segment with newer and better products. One example of this shift are the Asus laptop computers put on the market recently, the one discussed here being the Asus ROG G73Jh gaming laptop.
According to the opinions of all users that have tested this laptop, the tool is a regular piece of jewelry for gamers, not matter what their demands and expectations might be. Is this a statement that is too bold? I think not. And I support my claims with the fact that this new addition to the Asus laptop computers range comes with very cool technical specifications.
First there is a very big screen, with a diagonal of 17.3 inches and a resolution of 1.920 x 1.080, on which all games are bound to be seen crystal clear. Secondly, an ATI Radeon HD 5870 video board with a 1 GB memory that supports DirectX 11. Thirdly, there is a whopping 8 GB of RAM memory and 1 TB of hard drive disc space. Fourthly, this baby comes fitted with a quad core processor, or to be more exact it uses the Intel Core i7-720QM processor.
Other details about the Asus ROG G73Jh include a Blu-ray / DVD combo drive, a 2 MP webcam for all your communication needs, a Wi-Fi connection, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1, 8 in 1 card reader and a kitchen sink. Of course, I’m just kidding about the kitchen sink, but it would not have surprised me. . there are also rumors that the tool contains a backlit keyboard and Windows 7 Home Premium as operating system. The battery is an eight cell, but the autonomy is not currently known. However, there are likely to be increased autonomy features with some of the traits turned off and with the video board on stand by. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Like any other powerful gaming tool, this piece of gaming laptop needs to have a unique and novel design. The look the designers gave the G73Jh was allegedly inspired by the stealth combat fighter jets. To be more precise, the look was borrowed from the Lockheed F117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter.
The Asus ROG G73Jh gaming laptop model has reached the United States of America. The model offered here, the G73JH-X1, comes fitted with an Intel Core i7 720QM quad core processor, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 video board with a 1 GB memory, 8 gigs of RAM memory (DDR 2), a 500 GB hard drive disc and a DVD burner. The price reaches $1,429. I know the price is a bit high, but hey, what kind of gamer are you. This is not a tool targeting amateurs. If you took up gaming and you really enjoy it, as a hobby or as a lifestyle, than you need dedication and perseverance to continue. Also, you need to make some sacrifices. The price you pay for this laptop, on the other hand, is well worth the pleasure you get from using it later on.

Since the creation of Internet, one of the best things to happen on this highly revolutionary and fast paced segment was the creation of wireless internet connection. This meant that any computer could connect to the Internet without having any wires attached to it and with increased mobility. So, the connection between laptop computers and wireless internet was a sort of match made in heaven, because they seem to be made for each other.
Wireless Internet service for laptop computers is not something out of the ordinary anymore. In many cafes, and in many areas, in town or at home, wireless internet is accessible and it allows immediate connection to the internet, which means that you can enjoy social networking, online games or indulge in the pursuit of knowledge wherever you are.
Some laptops come with wireless service all set up. On other occasions, clients need to demand wireless internet service for laptop computers, as a specific requirement. Another issue is with the settings once you have bought a new laptop and when you have installed some new software or a new operating system. Such is the case with mini laptop computers, which need some additional modifications in certain occasions. Say you want to set up a wireless internet hotspot in your home. First of all, do not forget to protect it. Secondly, set up the computers you have in the home, to access internet without a cable.
Now, for the tutorial part: Mini-PCs are not new to anyone. Reduced in size, they are somewhat “low” in terms of configuration, so they need operating systems that do not “eat” too many resources. Eeedora is one of these systems, adapted from Fedora (Linux) for EeePC notebooks, from the Asus brand. Connection to the Internet for these mini PCs is wireless, due to the fact that the size does not allow the integration of common network cards.
To enable WiFi (wireless Internet) on an EeePC running Eeedora, you must follow these steps: -Click on ‘X’ “in the left side of the taskbar’s (button replaces the “Start” button from the Windows operating system), then select Network -> WiFi Radar. -If your wireless network is already installed, you can edit it using the Edit button (of course after it was selected), if you have not installed a wireless network, then click the “New” button.
-Write the wireless network name (if it does not already exist in the list) then select Wi-Fi Options. In the menu select the appropriate option for your network, then click the Save button. -After configuring the network, click on Connect. You will be connected to the wireless network and your IP address will appear at the bottom of the window. Et voila! Have a nice time surfing the web from your mini laptop and from the comfort of wherever you feel like you should be.
