If you want to buy a laptop computer and you don’t know what computer brand to choose, try to compare your computing needs with what computers have to offer. If you want a laptop computer instead of a desktop one, this means you are a person with great travel needs. Or you could be a simple student, that has to make presentations using a notebook computer and perhaps a projector to emphasize what he’s saying on a bigger screen or wall.

If you recently saw the Snow Leopard operating system coming from Apple logically, which is the Mac OS and you want this system to be installed in your computer, upon which you haven’t decided yet, then start thinking about getting a MacBook. You can install a Mac OS on other computers too, but the machine will cause a large number of malfunctions and you will have to keep your computer more at repair centers than at your own house. With a Microsoft Windows operating system, you will not be able to access that many and great applications, like the ones provided by Apple. Apple produces computers that have removable batteries. This doesn’t mean that you can simply remove the battery and replace it with other, maybe counterfeit.

The MacBook computers are smart and they recognize immediately if you use a fake component. The computer might have start up problems or might not even start at all. The removable batteries are good to be used when you notice that your computer battery gets more and more exhausted. When it does, the best thing to do is to go with your Mac to a repair center to get the battery replaced with a new and compatible one.

Don’t try to troubleshoot by yourself a computer, nor to change the battery. Even these operations seem simple, when talking about replacing an LCD inverter or changing a battery, in fact they need a very good precision and enough computer skills to perform them. The battery of a computer is a very important component and the way you treat it depends the good functioning of your computer. For example, when you need to perform an operation on your computer, you have to disconnect the computer from the wall outlet and also disconnect all the electronic devices previously connected to the computer and to remove the battery.

You have to do this because you might hit by mistake the power button and if the battery is charged it could cause the computer start up. And you would not want to computer to start up while you try to troubleshoot it. This is the last thing you would want to happen, especially if you are new in this operations.
