Motherboard is an important aspect when talking about laptop computer or desktop computers. Like any concept which exists in this world, motherboard has a definition. The definition is: A motherboard is a large flat circuit board that connects some components of a laptop computer. If the motherboard suffers a failure from mechanical point of view and you have a HP laptop computer, it is possible that different components of the laptop computer to stop working. All you can do when a disaster happens with your HP laptop computer motherboard. How to do that? Very simple indeed! The instructions are as follows:

A laptop computers comes with a user manual that must be carefully read. If you have lost the user manual of your HP laptop computer, you have also the option to navigate to the HP support website an then choose the information needed for your HP laptop computer. The other actions you must perform are: buy the corresponding replacement motherboard, power off your HP laptop computer, turn it in the way in which you the laptop computer battery is facing up toward you (remove the battery). The second step consists of lifting up the covers near the case middle which has the role of protecting the hard driver and the RAM modules. The hard drive must be pulled directly out of the case and set aside. Also, you have to grab the two ends of the exposed RAM module and remove it, at an angle of 30 degree, from the case. If your HP laptop computer model has two memory modules, you must repeat the process with the second Ram module.

Next, at the third step, you must start with pulling the disc drive on the left part of the HP laptop computer out of the case and set it aside. Turn the laptop computer back over and open up the lid of the screen. Then, push a screwdriver head under the large piece of plastic above the keyboard. Disconnect the cable that connects the plastic piece “going” to the motherboard and try the fourth step by pulling the HP laptop computer keyboard off the same case and disconnecting the cable which makes the connection possible between the keyboard and motherboard. The next three magic verbs are: to pull, to locate and to pull. First, pull and then set the hinges aside. Second, at the motherboard`s left end, locate the network card. And the last action concerning this step is pulling the card on the motherboard and, please, set it aside.

The last steps to be followed, are the removing of the screws that hold the graphics card to the motherboard (the HP laptop computer model should have an additional graphics adapter), removing the unit and pulling the processor, pushing the laptop computer motherboard into the case and reconnect all the screws.

In the end, reassemble all the internal parts you have removed in order to get to the laptop computer and then power on the HP laptop computer and you must to be patient until the operating system have finished loading and be sure that the motherboard “knows” how to work.

An important warning: Do never open up your laptop computer without grounding yourself by touching a object of metal rooted to the floor!
