Every person that needs a new computer should address directly to the manufacturer and not to other computer websites or redistributors. The bad part comes when you are from an area where you can’t find the computer you want. With the Internet and all, you get the chance of seeing different computer types and models. Let’s say you like a computer build in the USA by an American manufacturer and you live on another continent. What will you do? Are you gonna order the computer?

Imagine that the shipment of a laptop computer or generally a computer on the territory of the USA lasts around two weeks. How long is it gonna take until your laptop computer gets to you? The sales representatives are the ones that answer to any of your questions and the technical representatives are going to pack the computer to be sent to Europe if you live there, if you get decided to buy that computer.

The people who work in the sales departments are earning their money by selling computers. But no rep will tell you to buy a computer if you don’t have enough money or if you live at a far distance from the factory. They will give you other ideas and perhaps recommend a store from where you can buy a computer created by your favorite manufacturer. The store is very important to be located near you or somewhere you can get easy, because if the computer experiences a problem, you should be able to go quickly (if they are opened) there and let the computer on the hands of a specialist. The problems you have with the computer should be resolved only by specialists trained by the manufacturer itself at the factory or at its headquarters. Not everyone who knows something about computer can troubleshoot a laptop computer created by a manufacturer or another.



You have to be trained by that specific company to know exactly where are located the internal components, how big is the capacity of the hard drive for a computer, what is the operating system run by the computer and how that system can be upgraded, what is the amount of memory available on the computer and so on. You can’t just leave the computer on everybody’s hands, when you know that person is no good for this job.

Even if you know a person that has some computer skills, don’t empower him to troubleshoot your computer, because if he fails, he will be the one that will support the consequences. I bet that the person that fails won’t pay a single penny to get your computer fixed. That’s about it with the friendship. So, when it comes to electronic components, above all the friendship and trust there exist between you and your friends, choose to go with your computer to a real technician.
