The laptops can be found in a wide range of sizes, shapes and weights, from the smallest and lightest to those who hardly satisfy the main feature of a laptop: portability. You can find notebooks on any IT store but first you have to decide on what kind of laptop computer you really want to have. You can also find notebooks on the internet, new laptops, refurbished ones or second hand if you have a low budget.

TABLET
Comparable in size and weight with ultra portables, tablets offer the ability to write by hand and navigate the menus, documents and web pages directly from the screen, using a special pen, called stylus. The most common type of sites is the convertible tablet that looks very similar to a standard laptop but has a screen that rotates 180 degrees and is then applied over the keyboard. Another type of tablet is the small tablet. These usually lack the tablet’s keyboard the only way to enter text or to navigate is through the screen.

Ultraportable
The smaller and lighter laptops, they have a compact form and are usually for those who travel often, having always in need of their laptop. But beware: what is gained in terms of size is lost in performance and amenities. These laptops are small and quite crowded keyboards, displays small and few ports and connectors. Small size  is translated also in a high price.

LIGHT LAPTOPS
A light laptop offers the optimal combination of portability, performance, amenities and price. With processing power (becoming more powerful) and ergonomic keyboards and screens more and more friendly than ultraportables and tablet with additional sites and optical drive, lightweight laptops let you work easier and faster. Although more expensive than average class laptops (mainstream), they offer maximum performance in a mobile device.

Laptops from the MEDIUM CATEGORY (Mainstream)
The laptops in this class are the only untargeted by a certain field, are the only non-specialized ( ultraportables – offers portability, desktop replacements – provides performance as any other laptop does not). Therefore, the cheapest laptops are in this category but that does not mean we can not find the category mainstream laptops at great prices. They provide everything needed to meet user needs: word processing, editing of photos (at the home user), burn CDs and DVDs, Web browsing and online communication. There are not generally intended for users that travel a lot.

DESKTOP REPLACEMENT
The largest and most difficult type of laptop. As its name shows, they are designed for power and performance as a desktop is ( PC that you know all). Too big and too heavy for anything but transportation from one room to another, this laptop offers the largest screens and keyboards and the best connectivity and the richest equipment. With them may be video editing, 3D graphics, multimedia or games in optimal conditions.
