Due to the constant evolution of technology, laptops aren’t quite what they used to be a few years ago in terms of their price tags. Within the past few years technology has evolved with a mind-blowing speed making the cutting edge technologies of today old and almost free within 5 or 6 months. This has been the general flow of events if we look back in time a few years ago. Remember how things were in 2005 for example. Someone walking on the street with a laptop would have been a very rare occurrence. Public Wi-Fi places were only in the project phase and no one could imagine that these places will be filled to capacity just a couple of years later.

Prices have also evolved dramatically in the past years.
