If you have moments when you start asking yourself what the best laptop brand is, you shouldn’t waste time, because with nowadays technology advance it’s easy to choose only one to say about that it’s the best. However, we have chosen 2 out of the best brands of laptop computers and you’ll be presented with a couple of laptops produced by them, so as to get an idea about how good they are and if they deserve their place in the list of the best laptop brands.
HP and Dell are the most prolific brands of laptop computers and because they are so famous, this review will focus on a few laptops manufactured by them. The single things that are common to both brands are the fact that they are both American corporations and they both want to take technology even further with their laptop computers. However, they are very different. And to demonstrate that we will compare the HP Mini 311 and the Dell s1440-022B, just to give you a brief idea about how each manufacturer produces its laptops.

Dell’s s1140-022B was rated as the best Dell laptop thanks to its compact and lightweight design. The laptop has a 2.1 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo T6500 processor running on 5GB of RAM which will assure the smooth and perfect run of you’re applications. Moreover, you get a massive 320GB hard drive, good for storing anything you like from simple documents to entire movies, games, music and photos. Another great thing about the laptop is the fact that it has a great battery life and thanks to the light weight, it’s very easy to carry it with you and stay connected while you are traveling. However, it has its downsides too, because the laptop comes without an optical drive, but the problem can be solved in no time if you buy an external optical drive.

HP’s Mini 311 was also rated as the best HP laptop, although its features are not so impressive. The laptop comes with a 1.60 GHz Intel Atom N270 processor running on only 1GB of RAM which will provide enough power to run your applications, but let’s face it, it won’t be exactly a power boost. You also get a 160GB hard drive to store all your personal stuff. However, you get the NVIDIA Ion graphics that adds HD video and basic gaming functionality, so you’ll be able to spend some quality time watching movies or playing games. As a downside, you should know about the annoying touchpad which will drive you a bit mad with the sound it makes. But aside of that, as a whole the laptop might not be the best, but HP sure nails it when it comes to manufacturing efficient laptops.
All in all, HP and Dell are the best manufacturers of laptop computers thanks to their willingness of making the laptops better and better and the fact that people buy them makes it even clearer that they deserve their place in the top of the list.

How do the best laptops become the best laptops? Well, thanks to their features and performance, but also to their design. In what follows we will check out the best two laptop computer that are on the market and decide if they belong on the top of the list or not. We will review their features, but we’ll also check out their prices.
The second best laptop computer is the HP Envy 13 that although looks like a MacBook and feels like a MacBook, it is not even close to one. This laptop is second in command on the list of the best laptop computers because of its a 2.13GHz Intel Core 2 Duo SL9600 processor powered by 3GB of RAM and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4330 discrete GPU that will take your movies and games to the other level.

Besides, the MacBook-like design is awesome and it will make you stand out in the crowd whenever you get it out to play with it. Moreover you get the wireless connectivity, that is so indispensable nowadays, that will keep you connected even if when you’re on the road, traveling. Also a good thing about it is the fact that it has small dimensions, so it’s not the back-breaking kind of laptop which is really hard to carry around. The price however, is really hefty, at around $1.499.99, but if you have some money saved up for a laptop than you should spend it on this one without having second thoughts. This laptop sure deserves the silver medal.

The best laptop, however, seems to be the HP EliteBook 8440w. Again, HP shows us that they are in the lead on the competition of the laptop manufacturers. This EliteBook, although is not used for entertainment purposes, it sure is a solid corporate laptop that has a dual-core Intel CPU coupled with an nVidia Quadro FX 380M professional-grade graphics processor that will power both your applications and your games. The LED-backlit screen has 1600-by-900 pixels which is better than most notebooks that have similar configurations and dimensions. However, as laptops do, this too has its downloads: the sound for instance isn’t provided at the best quality, but it delivers and the video playback is mediocre.
However, as said before, this laptop wasn’t designed for entertainment, but for people who need a laptop for their business. The size and the light weight, as well as the wireless connectivity, will allow you to carry it with you on your trips and stay connected with your partners, video-chat and also multitask, thanks to the powerful processor. The price, however, can get to $1.480.81, which is less than the laptop mentioned above, but is still high enough, so it’s not the type of laptop anyone could afford. But still, if you are a businessperson in search for a travel mate which will allow you to perform your tasks and do your job even when you’re not in the office, this is the one you need.

The Apple MacBook has maybe the best design yet with its ‘unibody” aluminum chassis and without the trackpad button. In the hardware department we’ll see the 2GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Mobile processor that is powered by 2GB of RAM which will enable the laptop to run even the most demanding applications; not to talk about the latest 3D games that run smoothly on this awesome laptop. These games are also powered by the NVIDIA 9400M that is among the best graphic cards there are.

The only bad part of this amazing laptop computer is that it doesn’t have any holes drilled in that fancy chassis of its and that make the Fire Wire nonexistent and there are only 2 USB ports, so you’ll have to deal with that. However, the features that this laptop computer embeds won’t be found in a similar system. Although the price is a bit higher than most, this laptop computer is worth every cent and you will be very pleased with it and the way in which it performs the tasks and mostly, the way in which your games will look. Moreover, the laptop comes with a 160GB hard drive on which you can store anything you want from the simplest documents to entire movies, games and favorite music.

The second best laptop computer is the Lenovo IdeaPad S210 that has a very fancy MacBook-like design that will definitely please your eyes. Although the laptop comes with only 80GB of storage space on the hard drive and 512MB of RAM, for an extra $50, you’ll get a 160GB hard drive and 1GB of RAM. However, the two USB ports, VGA out, headphone, microphone, LAN, multi-card reader, Bluetooth and Express Card are a very nice touch to the connectivity department. On the other hand, the keyboard doesn’t impress much – it feels a little cramped and it has some weird-shaped keys that you might find useless. Although a 6-Cell battery would have been nice, the 3-Cell still delivers an average of 4 hours. Also a great thing is the fact that this laptop can be upgraded at any time, so don’t fear the not-so-powerful features because you’ll be able to upgraded and make it better. All in all, the 10.2-inch, 2.4lbs laptop computers is a great purchase that besides the little RAM and the cramped keyboard, there’s nothing wrong with it, it even has features you won’t find in similar laptops and it is also very affordable in matter of price.
