Best Asus Notebook

Asus N73 is one of the best ASUS notebooks and a great desktop replacement. We enjoyed the big and bright screen, the general design of the laptop, the processing power offered by the Core i5 processors and we tested the multimedia capacities of the system. We did not like the fact that it is pretty heavy, for example if you sit on a chair it’s not quite a system perfect for holding on your lap. Also the charger weighs 1 Kg and is very big. The Full HD screen was absolutely necessary on such a system. So for the perfect experience you can wait for ASUS NX90. The good news is that N73 is a good ASUS Notebook at a good price.
We also enjoyed the keyboard which is very well placed and easy to type on; the keys are not very distanced but also not very crowded because of the numeric keys, as it happens on some competitive systems. The sound is way over most of the notebooks thanks to the Bang & Olufsen technology. The image is good, the display with 17.3 inch with LED illumination is offering 1680 x 900 pixels resolution which is also great. With the help of a HDMI cable you can see Full HD videos on an external monitor or a compatible TV.

The video card is Nvidia GeForce GT335M with 1 GB of dedicated video memory and in order to give the battery a longer lifetime, the Super Hybrid Engine can switch to the Intel video card. It also has the Nvidia Optimus technology.
The Intel Core i5-460M dual-core processors at 2.53 GHz can run at up to 2.8 GHz thanks to the Turbo Boost technology. With 4 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage space, the notebook is offering all the features of a multimedia desktop inside a very attractive notebook.

Best Asus Notebook
It weighs almost 3.5 Kg; the 6 cell battery is offering a pretty reduced autonomy for a multimedia system. The speakers made by Bang & Olufsen have a power of only 3W. The sound is good inside a room or in places with special acoustic. Anyway, the volume of the sound chamber is 80 cubic centimeters, 4 times bigger than on any normal notebook with integrated speakers. In plus, it has a 3.0 USB slot.

Best Asus Gaming Laptop
Published by OnlyBestLaptops, on Apr 16 2011, in the categories: Asus, gaming
When it comes to gaming ASUS has produced a device that will give the competition something to worry about. ASUS G73JH – TZ014V is a powerful laptop that will satisfy any needs when it comes to intense gaming.
The display on this one is Full HD, offers a great gaming experience and eliminates the issues that gamers had with the previous models from the same series. The colors are very vivid and the new display offers a low black value when it comes to luminosity. The contrast hasn’t been better for this series. On the other hand, the display still produces some annoying reflections if you are in a bright light environment, but indoors you won’t have any problems with it. The viewing angles are great, the colors remain vivid and deep even at high inclination angles.

Best Asus Gaming Laptop
The performance on this one is awesome. The CPU has been upgraded as well as the RAM. Of course you have a wide range of components to choose from when configuring your gaming laptop so it’s up to you when it comes to that. The great thing about this model is that you will benefit from the Twin Turbo Mode that will render greater speed and power.
Since this is a gaming laptop you have to think in terms of gaming performance. You won’t have any problems with any game since this model keeps the frame rate very low and runs without any issues.

Best Asus Gaming Laptop
The ASUS laptops have a reputation for producing very quiet gaming devices so, at optimal cooling, it’s very quiet. You won’t even hear it when it’s used for browsing or other common tasks. The temperature can get a little high when you take it to full throttle but not to such extent as to worry about it. You will still get the same great performance from it even at higher temperatures.
The battery life is kind of low but you have to consider the fact that it is quite powerful so this should be expected.
All in all, a great gaming laptop that is most of all a very quiet system. A feature that many gaming laptop manufacturers tend to overlook.
Best 14.1 Inch Notebook
Published by OnlyBestLaptops, on Apr 08 2011, in the categories: Asus
If you are looking for a 14.1 inch sized notebook we might be able to help you with your choice. The most noteworthy in this category is Asus N81Vp. This notebook is designed to handle anything. Asus packed this little thing with all the technology one may require whether you’re a media enthusiast, you’re into gaming or you want it just to have a notebook laying around the house.
For N81Vp Asus didn’t overdid it with the design, having a classy look with no bright colors or graphic designs. From black and dark bronze on the outside to ash-gold finishing on the inside, this model is a delight to look at.

Best 14.1 Inch Notebook
Given the fact that the underside of the notebook is meant to be used by the use in order to upgrade the device, there were no warranty seals on it which I found great since I like to meddle with my gadgets.
The display is pretty good in comparison to other notebooks, has a good contrast taking into consideration the glossy surface of the notebook and also the good saturation. The viewing angles tend to wash out the colors (low), but since it’s a 14.1 inch notebook I don’t think that should be an issue.

Best 14.1 Inch Notebook
The keyboard is full-size (awesome!) but given the fact that this is primarily a gaming notebook, the keys could have been better placed but it still is a very comfortable keyboard to use. The touch-pad is large and very responsive. You don’t have to apply too much pressure to it in order to get the job done. Not the case when it comes to the touch-pad buttons…not the best ones I’ve used but I’m willing to look it over, since if you are going to use it for gaming you will most certainly get a mouse.
The performance of Asus N81Vp is well above the average being able to compete even against larger machines on the market. You won’t have any problem with any loading time or software installation with this one. All in all, this is the best 14 inch notebook you can get your hands on!
Asus Laptop Computers
Published by admin, on Jan 09 2011, in the categories: Asus
It has been a while since gamers have been taken into consideration by the makers of laptops, and companies have started looking towards this segment with newer and better products. One example of this shift are the Asus laptop computers put on the market recently, the one discussed here being the Asus ROG G73Jh gaming laptop.
According to the opinions of all users that have tested this laptop, the tool is a regular piece of jewelry for gamers, not matter what their demands and expectations might be. Is this a statement that is too bold? I think not. And I support my claims with the fact that this new addition to the Asus laptop computers range comes with very cool technical specifications.
First there is a very big screen, with a diagonal of 17.3 inches and a resolution of 1.920 x 1.080, on which all games are bound to be seen crystal clear. Secondly, an ATI Radeon HD 5870 video board with a 1 GB memory that supports DirectX 11. Thirdly, there is a whopping 8 GB of RAM memory and 1 TB of hard drive disc space. Fourthly, this baby comes fitted with a quad core processor, or to be more exact it uses the Intel Core i7-720QM processor.
Other details about the Asus ROG G73Jh include a Blu-ray / DVD combo drive, a 2 MP webcam for all your communication needs, a Wi-Fi connection, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1, 8 in 1 card reader and a kitchen sink. Of course, I’m just kidding about the kitchen sink, but it would not have surprised me. . there are also rumors that the tool contains a backlit keyboard and Windows 7 Home Premium as operating system. The battery is an eight cell, but the autonomy is not currently known. However, there are likely to be increased autonomy features with some of the traits turned off and with the video board on stand by. I guess we will just have to wait and see.
Like any other powerful gaming tool, this piece of gaming laptop needs to have a unique and novel design. The look the designers gave the G73Jh was allegedly inspired by the stealth combat fighter jets. To be more precise, the look was borrowed from the Lockheed F117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter.
The Asus ROG G73Jh gaming laptop model has reached the United States of America. The model offered here, the G73JH-X1, comes fitted with an Intel Core i7 720QM quad core processor, an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 video board with a 1 GB memory, 8 gigs of RAM memory (DDR 2), a 500 GB hard drive disc and a DVD burner. The price reaches $1,429. I know the price is a bit high, but hey, what kind of gamer are you. This is not a tool targeting amateurs. If you took up gaming and you really enjoy it, as a hobby or as a lifestyle, than you need dedication and perseverance to continue. Also, you need to make some sacrifices. The price you pay for this laptop, on the other hand, is well worth the pleasure you get from using it later on.
