Best Laptop Value

What is the best value if we talk about a laptop? This is a very common question. Well it depends on their use and, of course on their users. Many say that the performances are the things that separate good laptops from bad ones. True. Others, on the other hand say that the design is almost as important as the looks, because after all we live in a world which is dictated by fashion. Again true. Because I’ve made many reviews about high performance laptops I’ve decided to write one about a laptop that redefines the term “stylish”.
The first object that springs into mind while looking at the Asus S121 is the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte. Its predominant color brown, the metallic-looking case, and the insertion of skin rest pad make it very similar to the Finnish terminal. Asus always surprised us wide range of notebooks and netbooks from those built from bamboo to those encrusted with Swarovski (as is the case of S121).

Obviously its main strength is the design, the notebook is embedded in a solid casing with metal inserts on the side. Being part of a luxurious range of laptops, the 2 sides of the hinge include Swarovski crystals. The only negative aspect of the case is the fact that the glossy, shiny material is a magnet for fingerprints. The keyboard is pleasant to touch, and, in the same time one of the most silent. The touchpad is very bug considering the size of the notebook and has the click buttons made out of aluminum to grant this laptop a more stylish look. The rest pad is very comfortable and, because it is made out of brown leather your hands won’t sweat as in the case of a classic rest pad.
The 12.2-inch LCD screen built with a backlight LED technology puts this system above the performances of the netbook-sized class, and makes this system rather a portable version of a notebook. The maximum resolution is 1280 x 800 pixels. The fact that disappointed me about the display was the angle of inclination, which is insufficient, especially if we speak of a notebook that users will often keep on their knees.
The performances aren’t quite as amazing as the design; it has an Intel Atom 1, 33 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM , which isn’t quite top-notch to say the least. If we talk about the graphics we will not be quite amazed as it comes with an Intel GMA 500 graphics accelerator. Another fact that is worth mentioning is that has no optical drive. Instead, it comes with 3 USB ports, LAN, W-LAN, Bluetooth, card reader and a 1.3 MP web cam located (obviously) on the frame at the top.

Being priced almost over $1,000 I think that this laptop offers a great value if we talk about style and in the same time it is extremely ergonomic. If you plan on buying a stylish laptop that will no doubt catch the eye of everyone around you, then the ASUS S121 is the laptop of your choice.
Laptop Best Price

Nowadays despite the wide variety of systems available on the market, it is extremely difficult to find out the best price for a laptop. When I say price I essentially say “price-performance” ration. A laptop I found out these days on the market caught my eye and I think it is one of the most adequate example for a good price to performance ration making this one of the best priced laptops out there.
One of the best processors of this time, the Intel Core i7 is now available on portable devices as well. The merit belongs to ASUS, which has developed the extravagant M60J, a notebook based on an Intel ® PM55 Express Chipset operation on, obviously an 820QM Intel Core i7, with a frequency of 1.73GHz. Unlike its ASUS G60J brother, which was dedicated especially for gamers, the M60J notebook focuses more on the multimedia sphere.

The Intel Turbo Boost processor is based on a process of overclocking. The CPU performance may increase with 1.33 GHz, reaching a peak of 3.06 GHz. There is no risk of over-using the processor to death, because all the overclocking process always takes place below the permissible temperature and voltage. If, once, one of them is exceeded, the frequency automatically decreases. Hyper-Threading allows working simultaneously with two separate threads on the same core. In other words, there will be a physical core logic core and a second quad-core processor will appear as an octal-core.
Another special item is the fingerprint reader, it offers a plus it the security category, but is also useful in other media activities. With this application, you can easily create a playlist or edit an image.

M60J notebook is designed exclusively for movies and music adepts, but gamers will certainly not be disappointed. Its performance was tested by running good, demanding games like Batman: Arkham Asylum, Need for Speed Shift, Far Cry 2, Call of Duty 5 or Resident Evil 5, and the results were more than satisfactory. Unfortunately, the same performance makes battery life is quite poor. Being priced at $1,100, I think that this system is definitely worth its money. If you are looking for a reliable system ready for anything, I strongly recommend the M60J.
Best Laptop Computer

What is the best laptop computer? Hard to tell if we acknowledge the fact that there are millions of different types and performance packs. Here are two systems that I considered above the rim. According to all opinions so far,it is a real jewel for gamers. Why? Because it comes along with a very impressive technical resume.
First of all, it has a large screen of 17.3 inches with a recommended resolution of 1920 x 1080, so that the games are played with maximum clarity and, in the same time it goes easy on your eyes. Now you may ask yourself what kind of graphic card can fuel the monstrous display. The answer is a 1 GB memory ATI Radeon HD 5870 that supports DirectX 11. Another aspect that makes this laptop one of the best on the market is its full 8 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage ( hard drive ). The processor is, of course a powerhouse one, and by powerhouse I mean a quad core, or Intel Core i7-720QM.

Other details include G73Jh Asus ROG Blu-ray / DVD combo drive, 2 MP webcam, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth 2.1, 8-in-1 card reader. It also has an elegant and ergonomic backlit keyboard and comes with Windows 7 Home Premium as operating system. Despite its huge performances, its 8 cell battery adds a more than decent autonomy, making this system an excellent buy. Like any powerful gaming laptop must have the looks to match its performances. The look of this laptop was inspired by the well-known G73Jh combat planes that use the technology “stealth”, namely the Lockheed F117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter.
For this new luxurious and stylish laptop, Asus asked David Lewis, chief designer of the Danish company Bang & Olufsen for a few tips. I am glad to say that the results are actually pretty impressive. Asus NX90 clearly impresses in terms of design. We speak of a polished aluminum housing, a keyboard and a matte black touchpad two separate sides, located not in their usual place, but one side of keyboard.
Asus NX90 is primarily a multimedia laptop. Firstly, it focuses on high quality sound – the two speakers B & O ICE are placed on the outside of the screen. Secondly, it has a media application developed especially to take advantage of the two sides ASUS touchpad – Rotation Desktop Control allows control of both hands to music and other media. And third, its 18.4 inch display boasts a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

Get ready for some serious technical specifications for the Asus NX90.It has an Intel Core i7, a GeForce GT 335M video card and a storage area that can reach 1280 GB HDD (we are talking dual drive). It features USB 3.0 and slot-in Blu-ray drive. Even though we are talking about a relatively new product on the market, this ASUS laptop is definitely one of the best seen out there on the market and can be bought at prices that vary between $ 1,799 and $ 2,499 – depending on the performance pack.
