Yes, today there is such a thing as cheap new laptops. They are not great, they are not all powerful, they are not the latest Sony Vaio or the latest MacBook Air, but they get the job done. Yep, cheap new laptops are the driving engine of the blue collar yuppie, if there ever was such a thing. If you are a student just entering college or a young graduate who is just now stepping into life, then cheap new laptops are the thing you need to get. Think about it. We are living in a world where connection is everything and it is like you don’t even exist if you are not on the grid, if you are not on the radar, online, connected. Cell phones, pagers, emails, faxes, sign language and many many more things all spell one single common denominator.

One single and all powerful element that binds us all and makes us into a society, into one, big, world organization. This single element is communication, and cheap new laptops are the shortcut you need to be at the epicenter of this whirlwind of connections. By cheap new laptops I mean laptops with starting prices at around $300 and with average performance and features. If you get one of these pieces of hardware you can check and send emails, go online on various social networking websites such as Facebook or the recently ignored Hi5.

First of all, cheap new laptops have the advantage of being, as their name says, cheap. You can afford one. We are no longer living in those times where laptops were an item only accessible to the elite. In out day and age there is a laptop for everyone. You can buy one to be the second computer in the home, or to teach your child the basics of computer usage. You can buy one to play music at your picnics or to check your emails while sipping coffee at the local diner in the morning, or to keep up with your friends on Twitter while you are in the park, under the shade of a tree.

Secondly, cheap new laptops are bought new, again, as the name says it, which means they come with some sort of warranty, and the parts are new, so you will not have any problems with maintenance and technical support for at least two years.

After you are done with it, you can sell it to someone else and they can enjoy, in turn, benefits of connection and communication. The potential is limitless once you start walking down the path towards communication, and a very good first step is to look into the available cheap new laptops and buy one for yourself. So stop reading this article from your desktop PC, go down to your local IT&C distributor and ask the vendor there what their offers are and how you can start enjoying life more while maintaining contact with your computer.

This is an article about best rated laptop computers. This article is based on a study made by specialists in the domain in which they analyzed more than 30 laptop computers, most of which are based on Intel and AMD technologies.

It has been difficult to choose the best models, but eventually, after considering the best searched functions and taking into consideration the consumer’s needs, the experts were able to come up with a top. More than 20% of the consumers rather buy laptop computers instead of a desktop.

The experts come up with a top 10 best rated laptop computers, as following:
The best laptop seems to be The Lenovo T 400. Out of Lenovo ThinkPad series, T400 seems to be the best available on the market presenting a solid mix of value, performance, and ultra portability. It has a 14.1-inch screen, 5.1-pounds and it is thin and light, but packs a great deal of power.

The second one is Acer Aspire One. This is easily the best all-around Netbook we have seen for less than $400. The ‘smart-looking’ Acer Aspire One holds the line at $379, without spending too much on features or design.

The next one is Apple 13 MacBook Pro. The Macbook, one of Apple’s most rated laptop computers, has undergone radical transformation over the last year and Apple has done an excellent job filling in some of the major missing pieces. Apple’s Macbook line has moved to aluminum construction LED displays and oversized multitouch trackpad.

The fourth model is the Hp Pavilion tx2500z tablet. This model could be an ideal notebook for college students, because it is powerful enough to be a primary notebook and offers the flexibility of tablet laptops at a very reasonable price. The tx2500z laptop computer maintains the same solid design and features as its predecessor.

No5 is Dell Studio 15. The Dell Studio 15 represents the perfect blend of high quality multimedia and mobility. This model is for people looking for mobility and high quality multimedia capabilities.

The Fujitsu Life Book T5010 is a convertible having an optical driver similar mostly to its predecessor the Life Book T4220. This model has been designed for people who are looking for multipurpose and reliable performance outside the office. The Portege M700 offers a soft transition from notebook to Tablet PC. The model was designed for people who are interested in performance.

There are not so many surprises in the new Dell Inspiron Mini 9 model, but it is a good example of a mini-laptop form. It has been designed for people who are interested in high portability. The Sony VAIO CS has plenty of performance combined with a wide range of colors and limited edition patterns. It has been designed for people who want a cool laptop with cool colors. Fujitsu’s LifeBook T2020 goes away from shiny designs and sex-appeal in favor of getting the job done. I hope this article on best rated laptop computers was helpful to you.

Here are some of what I consider the best brands of laptop computers. If you disagree and think some other names should be included on the list of best brands of laptop computers, let me know.

Acer – If in 2004 the Taiwanese producer has a portfolio of 16 different series, the 24 series in 2005 were added with another one: from the ultra-portable subnotebook TravelMate 3002 WTMi weighing 1.4 kg to the 4 kg desktop replacement Aspire 1801 WSMi, with a 17 inch screen and 80 GB hard disk. All models have in common the very good outfitting compared to the asking price.

Those who place emphasis on portability and autonomy need to look into the TravelMate models: these come equipped with Pentium M processors, optimized for mobile use, but also the cheaper Celeron M and AMD Turion. For private use, there are the Aspire models with Pentium 4 and AMD technology. The Turion mobile processor from AMD comes combined with an ATI Radeon X700 in the red series of Ferrari notebooks.

Apple – It is surprising to see the impact made by Apple throughout time with the best alternative for Windows. If you have ever used a G4 Powerbook or an iBook then you know why. The MacOS X operating system has everything under control, without seeming overpowered. The iBooks come in two sizes, with 12.1 inch screen or with 14 inch screen. The much more powerful and more expensive PowerBooks range from the super-portable 12.1 inch models to the 17 inch models, and they can be successfully used as desktop replacements.

Often copies, the design of an iBook has already become a landmark, but the Apple mobile computers are also efficient when it comes to function.

Asus – Even if the reputation of Asus grows in Europe only very slowly, the producer with over 58,000 employees is one of the largest companies on this segment in the world. Asus divides its notebooks into two categories for consumers and two categories for business. In the “Digital Home” category there are computers with 15.4 inch widescreen displays and 17 inch displays, meant specially for stationary use. The “Multimedia” series covers entertainment needs. For professional users with a broad spectrum of application, there are the devices in the “Professional” range, while travelers can go with one of the laptops from the “Thin & Light” series.

BenQ – BenQ can be seen as rookie of the year 2005, on the European IT market. Asians usually draw less attention especially through functionality that nobody really needs. On the contrary, they try to impress with nice devices, meant for everyday use. The notebook offer is represented by four models. We will not find here any extremely low weights or true processing giants, since the lightest notebook is the Joybook S72, with Centrino technology and a 14.2 inch screen, which weighs more than 2 kg, while the heaviest, the Joybook R22, with AMD Sempron 3000+ and a 15 inch screen, weighs 3 kg. Of course, this is not the end of the list, but here I pause for your reply. So, hit me.

The Aspire 5732Z is an Acer notebook series. The Aspire 5732Z is part of the forth line (5xxx) released within the Aspire series. The Aspire 5xxx line includes beside the Aspire 5732Z, several other Aspire notebook, such as Aspire 5745, Aspire 5741, Aspire 5553, Aspire 5532, Aspire 5534, Aspire 5535, Aspire 5551, Aspire 5536, Aspire 5332, Aspire 5542, Aspire 5738Z 3D, Aspire 5739, Aspire 5740, Aspire 5738, Aspire 5738Z, Aspire 5410, Aspire 5538, Aspire Timeline 5810T, Aspire 5940G. Moreover, Aspire 5732Z is not the direct successor of any previous Acer products, but can be considered a technological upgrade of Aspire 5535, and a technological predecessor of the Aspire 5738Z.

Although the Aspire 5732Z series was not developed as a back-to-back product, the Aspire 5732Z was by far a stand-alone product, since Acer delivered the Aspire 5732Z notebooks within four different configurations, including AS5732Z-443G25Mn, AS5732Z-433G25Mn, AS5732Z-443G32Mn, and AS5732Z-444G32Mn. However, Acer offered users the possibility of self-configure their Aspire 5732Z. The Aspire 5732Z was succeeded (from the technological point of view) by its direct successors, also part of the Aspire 5xxx line (from the Europe region Acer portfolio). The Aspire 5732Z series included the main features of the Aspire notebook series, such as Acer Crystalbrite, Acer Quickcharge, Acer Signal-up, Acer Gridvista, Acer Dasp+, Acer Video Conference, and Acer TPM.

Beside the software features, several hardware features, including the processor, the system memory, the display, the operating system, and even hard disk capacity, were strictly depending upon the configurations available within the Aspire 5732Z series. The Aspire 5732Z was conventionally linked by Acer with the statement mobile lifestyle.

Acer marketed the Aspire 5732Z series by using within the marketing campaign its key features: The 15.6″ Aspire 5732Z sports a classy design along with everything you need to fit your mobile lifestyle, delivering solid performance for completing your daily tasks and enjoying entertainment on the go. Several hardware and software specifications, such as processor, hard drive, graphic adapter, main memory, and operating system were configurable, but available on specific regions (North and South America, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, and Asia-Pacific region) and were not available as configurable features worldwide.
The Aspire is Acer’s laptop series designed for everyday consumer. Acer currently markets the Aspire line as brilliant multimedia and outstanding computing. The Aspire series includes several notebooks with different design, performance and functionality.

Most Aspire notebooks have an entry-level configuration, while only a few of them have full-fledge media center configurations. Acer developed the Aspire series in order to cover from essentials to high performances. The Aspire series is aimed at the casual household user or for small business use. The Aspire series covers both desktop computers and laptops. Depending on the location the Aspire laptops can included different configurations. These configurations are strictly available on specific regions (North and South America, Europe, Middle East, South Africa, and Asia-Pacific region) and are not available worldwide.

The Aspire 5732Z series was developed and released within the Aspire 5xxx series. The Aspire 5732Z was delivered with a competent processor, efficient graphics engine and premium audio technologies. Based on Principled Technologies’ benchmark testing, using Bapco’s MobileMark 2007 Productivity test, battery life varies depending on product specifications, computer settings, and applications or features launched, and may be reduced if Windows Aero is enabled. The marketing campaign used for the Aspire 5732Z included several of its benefits:

Intuitive use: The full-size keyboard features large keys for more comfortable typing, while media keys give total control over digital entertainment. A touchpad lock prevents accidental cursor movement, and a WLAN key instantly hooks up to an available Wi-Fi hotspot.

Fast connectivity: Get on the Internet wirelessly via built-in Wi-Fi, or go the wired route with Fast Ethernet. Keeping in touch from anywhere across the world is a delightful experience thanks to the Acer Crystal Eye webcam. Enjoy face-to-face video chats, save on travel time, and make free Internet calls!

All-around performer: The Aspire 5732Z’s top-brand processor handles multiple computing tasks at once. Integrated graphics deliver impressive visuals on the 15.6″ HD widescreen — the perfect size for viewing several open windows to meet your multitasking or entertainment needs. A high-capacity hard disk drive easily stores all your files and digital media, and a multi-in-1 card reader lets you share and transfer files effortlessly. And, with the DVD-Super Multi drive, you can enjoy all the multimedia you want anywhere, anytime.

The Aspire 5551 is an Acer notebook series. The Aspire 5551 is part of the forth line (5xxx) released within the Aspire series. The Aspire 5xxx line includes beside the Aspire 5551, several other Aspire notebook, such as Aspire 5745, Aspire 5741, Aspire 5553, Aspire 5532, Aspire 5534, Aspire 5535, Aspire 5536, Aspire 5332, Aspire 5738Z 3D, Aspire 5542, Aspire 5738PG Touch, Aspire 5739, Aspire 5740, Aspire 5738, Aspire 5738Z, Aspire 5410, Aspire 5538, Aspire Timeline 5810T, Aspire 5940G.

Furthermore, Aspire 5551 is not the direct successor of any previous Acer products, but can be considered a technological upgrade of Aspire 5542. Although it was not developed as a back-to-back product, the Aspire 5551 was a stand-alone product, since Acer delivered the Aspire 5551 notebooks within a single configuration. However, Acer offered users the possibility of self-configure their Aspire 5551. The Aspire 5551 was succeeded (from the technological point of view) by its direct successors, also part of the Aspire 5xxx line (from the Europe region Acer portfolio). The Aspire 5551 series included the main features of the Aspire notebook series, such as Acer Crystalbrite, Acer Quickcharge, Acer Signal-up, Acer Gridvista, Acer Dasp+, Acer Video Conference, and Acer TPM.

However, hardware features, including the processor, the system memory, the display, the operating system, and even hard disk capacity, were strictly depending upon the configurations available within the Aspire 5551 series. The Aspire 5551 was conventionally linked by Acer with the statement excellent blend of power, size, connectivity and usabililty. Acer marketed the Aspire 5551 series by using within the marketing campaign its key features: The Aspire 5551 provides an excellent blend of power, size, connectivity and usabililty. AMD multi-core processing lets you multitask with gusto, while high-performance graphics provide impressive multimedia on the crisp 15.6″ screen. To top it off, smart design features put you in comfortable control.

The Aspire 5551 series was developed and released within the Aspire 5xxx series. The Aspire 5551 was delivered with AMD multi-core processors, 15.6″ CineCrystal display, and offered at an affordable price. Based on Principled Technologies’ benchmark testing, using Bapco’s MobileMark 2007 Productivity test, battery life varies depending on product specifications, computer settings, and applications or features launched, and may be reduced if Windows Aero is enabled. The marketing campaign used for the Aspire 5551 included several of its benefits.
