A Dell laptop computer is a portable computer, this means you have to take it with you almost everyehere you go, especially at your office, that is. Of course, you can take this mobile companion with you on your trips and holidays too, nobody is stoping you, but the main location in which you’re probably using the computer is at the office. And how are you going to transport this device? Yes, that’s right, with a carrying case.

When you have a Dell computer which has 15.4 inches, you should look for a bag that suits the over 15 inches laptops. But make sure it is not made for 17 inches laptops or above, because the laptop needs to be hold still. And in a bag designed for 17, 18 inches laptop or more, the 15.4 inches laptop will swim. A nylon carrying case is designed to accommodate laptops of various sizes and it is an ideal accessory for you or your friends. But in the end, the one which will be the most happy with this nylon bag will be your Dell laptop.

It is designed to protect the laptop from damages, from scratches and other minor or major problems. In case you drop the case and the computer is inside, the trouble is going to be significantly lower because the nylon material offers a convenient and protective solution to this kind of problems.

You can buy a nylon carrying case directly from the Dell website or you can just go and visit the Dell store in your city. They will surely welcome you with some great nylon Deluxe top load laptop carrying cases from Dell. Remember, all that is recommended by Dell has the Dell guarantee all over it. And that means something. The products have been tested and validated by Dell and they work with Dell products. If you have any questions regarding these accessories, you can contact the Support Center.

The case is well built and offers plenty of room for the laptop, the AC adapter and a mouse. This bag is not expandable, you can not extend its dimensions in order to get a 17 inches computer inside. It is delivered with a handle and with zippers. Also, external pockets are there too, to help you store everything you need. The texture inside the case is a soft and gentle one, which protects the laptop’s casing.

After you use your computer, before you place it into the case, so before you have to move to somewhere else, please let the computer to cool down for a few moments. The computer needs to have the circuits cooled. Try not to transport the computer while the battery inside it is still hot.

Usually, a Dell laptop power cord comes with an AC adapter or other power supply. You can power your Dell laptop with the help of a 3 Wire Power Cord, that has 6 ft in length and works at a maximum voltage of 220 V. This product has been tested by Dell and validated to work properly with Dell laptops. If you have any problem concerning this product, don’t hesitate to contact Dell support center. If you are using this power cord with a Dell computer, that is. The product benefits of one year limited warranty.
The power supply cord for Dell XPS laptop has the following connector sizes: the internal diameter 5 mm, the external diameter 7.4 mm and also a central pin inside. The features presents earlier are common to most Dell laptops. Let’s see what is to be done when a power cord doesn’t function correctly. In other words, the power cord is plugged into a power outlet, but the laptop isn’t charging.

First, check out the LED status. If the LED is not lit, but the power cord is firmly attached in the power adapter and the wall outlet too, probably the adapter is not functioning well. But it can also be an outlet problem or a power cord problem. If the LED button on your laptop blinks when you try to charge the laptop, the failure is delivered by the power cord or by the connector inside the laptop. If the issue comes from the second variant, it is rather difficult for you to solve it. In this case, you should go to a trained technician

A power cord can look good on the outside, but be broken in the inside. The power cord has in the interior a shielded coaxial cable with inner conductors. Most power cords include a ferrite which prevents the interferences generated by the laptop. If you can figure that the problem is one of the connectors, buy new ones and replace the old ones.

The connectors that you buy must have the same sizes as the connectors that you replace. When ordering connectors at a certain store, you have to go there with your laptop, so that the store’s technicians can know exactly what diameter should have the connectors. The inside as well as the outside diameter should match perfectly the old connectors.

Every time you have a problem with your laptop and you can tell the problem comes from the power adapter, power cord or from the connectors inside your laptop, try to start with the power cord. It is the easiest method and you don’t need to have so many technician’s skills. But if you have a Dell laptop, you better know that a Dell laptop power cord is a robust one and not made for failure.

A tutorial on how to repair an overheating Toshiba laptop. Warning: we cannot in any way be held liable for any damages you may cause to your laptop by following this tutorial, which was made for information purposes only. You are responsible for what you do.

In this two-part tutorial, we’ll see how to disassemble a laptop to fix the problem of a laptop that overheats.

Caution, however, the example is done with a Dell Inspiron laptop, and every laptop has its own architecture. You will certainly not find the items exactly the same place, but I hope this article will help you locate them anyway if you’re ready to disassemble your laptop. Regarding the laptop in this example, it gets very hot and it makes the PC switches itself off sometimes, probably because it reached the maximum level of security and temperature is warming up (its ’off). We will check the interior, put some thermal paste on the processor, dusting it off, and raise the laptop to allow air to be expelled from the pc correctly.

Explanations
1. Remove and open the laptop

The first thing to do would be to remove the battery from the laptop to remove any power on the one hand, and because it takes in most other cases. To do this, most of the time you have to push a small locket (white rectangle on the image below) and pull the battery at the same time to release it from its location.

Then he will need to unscrew all the screws you see under the laptop one by one (help yourself with a magnetized screwdriver or another magnet to get them out, to keep your nerves for the rest .

Then unscrew and remove the cover containing strips RAM.

Then you should see another door containing the hard drive of the laptop. On most PCs, it is like below the trap of memory (see also the tutorial to change a memory card on laptop), but it is on the side (front). There is a trap to unscrew to get this. Here we see a “tab” which is used to pull the drive out of the slot. Remove the hard disk.

Then if you have removed all the screws from the bottom, you should almost be able to separate the top and bottom of the hull of the laptop.
I say “almost” because for me it is not yet the case.

Note: do not force any to separate the two parties because there are cables to unplug and tablecloths inside. If you force you will break them.

In fact I still have screws on the back of the pc. These are the two screws that secure the screen as we shall see later. It must also remove.

If you look on the back of the PC, there are even other parts to remove. The output VGA (monitor) is attached by two screws at each end specific, we’ll have to unscrew them with a wrench.

Once this is done, return the pc screen and fold completely flat to put it. Then he’ll have to disengage the two “bridges” that serve plastic cover above the visor fittings. Go gently with a screwdriver for example, and it should be removed.
In this example, they are connected with the cache of lights and power button, it will therefore have to unclip everything.

Finally, the cache is full.

Then there are still screws removed in the cache.

There is also a screw that holds the shell in the center of the metal plate under the keyboard (the keyboard that no longer hold, you can return it without problem).

And these are the lower and upper hulls will finally be able to separate. But separate them very carefully, looking inside your PC because you’ll need to unplug cables at the same time: the water and the keyboard cable from the screen include.

When you want to disassemble a desktop, you just pull out the power cord and you whatever you want to do. Well, laptops are not that easy to handle. The compact design makes the laptop much more difficult to disassemble. So, when you want to change some component or you just want to clean the dust from the inside of the laptop you have to go through much more than if you would do the same thing to a desktop.

If you want to replace the laptop keyboard from your Toshiba you should know that it’s a task that requires some work. In the process you will have to follow six steps so you’ll get the best result. You will have to disconnect your laptop from all power supply. That means you will have to pull the power cord out and remove the battery as well. For removing the battery, locate release button on the bottom of the laptop. This button needs to be held in while the battery pack is slid free from the computer.

Remove all the screws from the bottom of the laptop. The number of screws depends on the model of the laptop. The general rule is one screw in every corner and one or two in the center. Now you have to slide the hard drive from the laptop; the hard drive will generally be located on the left or right side of the laptop (you will see a small symbol engraved into the laptop to denote its location).

Remove the two screws from the back of the computer that hold the screen’s hinges.Pull up gently on the screen until the two pegs that held the screen clear the holes in the laptop’s body. Make sure you do not pull too hard the wires that connect the laptop screen so they remain attached. By doing this, you release the screen from the body of the laptop.

Expose the laptop components by separating the two plastic halves of the laptops external case. Lifting up on the keyboard pad and flipping it on its face, you will notice a stripe leading out from the keyboard into the laptop. To can remove the keyboard, you must unscrew the metal piece that covers the computer’s motherboard.Once you have removed the metal piece, you will have to disconnect the cable that unites the keyboard and the motherboard. To do that you have to follow the strip cable to the motherboard connection; you will find a plastic tab that ensures the connection- pull it to remove the connector. Now you just remove the keyboard.Get the new keyboard ready to install.

<img style="border: 0px none;" title="What people are saying about "Toshiba"" src="http://placeholder.apture.com/ph/370x341_TwitterArticle/" alt="" width="370px" height="341px" />

Insert the end of the film-like connector into the plastic tab you released earlier. Now all you have to do is follow the steps backwards and reassemble the laptop. This is the basic procedure for replacing the keyboard on a Toshiba laptop. If you follow the steps as we said, you can’t do it wrong. The key is to be very careful to not disconnect any wires inside the laptop or do any damage to the components, because the room inside a laptop is very tight.

Low cost laptop owners deal with problems on their laptops all the time. One of the ideas of owning a product from a low cost brand is compromise between cost and durability. Another idea is to save money by doing all the repairs you can yourself. One of the most frequently asked questions by handy men on forums is “How to remove the bezel”.

First, you have to consider safety. Before doing any job on the hardware department, you have to unplug the power cord and remove the battery. Another thing is to be sure of what you should do for fixing the problem, because you might end up with more to reassemble than you should, and even cause some problems in areas you didn’t have to reach. Removing the Toshiba laptop bezel is useful only for repairs on the upper side of the laptop, the LCD area. Here, you can reach for repair the backlight, the inverter and the LCD screen. When it comes to tools, you need just a Philips screwdriver and a flathead screwdriver.

On Toshiba laptops, you will usually find four screws that secure the bezel. To reach the two on the top, remove the rubber bumpers that hide them. For the two bottom screws, you will have to remove the rectangular paste INS that hides them. After this, it shouldn’t be a problem unscrewing them, but be careful not to ruin the head, so use a screwdriver that matches.

Prying the plastic shell requires the flathead screwdriver and some force. You have to fit in the flathead when beginning to open the snap-together injection molding. Once you can see the snaps, you can act directly on them and it’s much easier.

The question now is if your problem is with the backlight or the inverter or the LCD. The first thing is to detach the backlight. Newer models of laptops don’t have a backlight because the new models of LCD don’t require one; it’s not a big deal, but an LCD with no backlight can save you battery life. You need a small Phillips head screwdriver to remove the two small screws from the backlight.

If the problem with your Toshiba laptop is the backlight, you should proceed by changing it. It’s no big deal; you just have to see how the old one was installed and repeat that. If the problem is the LCD or the inverter, forget the backlight and let’s go further. Now, we will proceed by removing the LCD. Whatever the problem is, you can resolve it now.

Replace the LCD screen or the inverter and resemble the laptop. It shouldn’t be hard if you follow the steps backward. For an inexperienced person or if this is the first time inside that laptop, this is the key: remember what you did when you disassembled the laptop in the first place and do it backwards. If you do it right, you shouldn’t have pieces left except the tools you used and the replacing piece or pieces.

<img style="border: 0px none;" title="What people are saying about "Toshiba laptop"" src="http://placeholder.apture.com/ph/370x341_TwitterArticle/" alt="" width="370px" height="341px" />

Doing an operation like Removing the Toshiba laptop bezel shouldn’t require too much effort. You should know that all basic procedures when repairing a laptop are simple once you get used to it. If the laptop you are repairing is your own laptop it’s much easier because you know the laptop very well after you look inside it a couple of times and it gets easier every time.

In order to spend you’re money wisely and choose the best Toshiba laptop battery for you, here is some info on this subject. Choosing the brands of batteries, especially not to buy the cheap batteries imported directly from China, they can be extremely dangerous because they will suffer very little control of manufacture, or none! So beware, they can be very dangerous!

Do not exceed the discharge current specified by the manufacturer of the battery (eg if marked 4400mAh so it will not pull more than 4.4 A for one hour) for fear of damaging it considerably. Clearly, it is recommended to use your battery to power other machines.
A very important announcement above: never fall below 10% load. In general the OS whatsoever, directly puts the computer to sleep when it is more than 15% of remaining charge. You can really lose 20% capacity in one fell swoop, I personally lost 10% capacity of a sudden wanting to try …

* Allow the battery to charge quietly without using it. Rest assured, when you recharge your battery power cord divides his power part is then to charge your battery, the other is used for the operation of your laptop, so your battery is not used for this time.
Calibration: this operation is to “reframe” the full charge your battery. To do this, when the battery is discharged at the maximum (not below 10% but when the OS puts the laptop in standby) it needs recharging completely without interruption. It actually allows your battery to undergo a full discharge followed by a full charge, which maintains it. It is advisable to do this manipulation 1 to 2 times per month.

Another important point also is that it is unnecessary to remove the battery from the computer when not in use and the PC is connected to the mains, simply because all current laptops or the batteries themselves are equipped with electronic circuits that avoid using the battery when it is charged and the laptop is connected to the mains. By cons are advised to unplug the power cord to a laptop when it is turned off to avoid any unnecessary burden micro-battery.

<img style="border: 0px none;" title="What people are saying about "toshiba laptop battery"" src="http://placeholder.apture.com/ph/370x341_TwitterArticle/" alt="" width="370px" height="341px" />

It seems that Sony flange charging batteries of their new laptops to 80% for the wear limit, so do not worry. It is normal if you can see on a Sony laptop.

Do not forget: a battery does not throw in the trash but recycled and wears even when not in use.

A battery has 2 key characteristics, the voltage expressed in Volts (V) and the amount of electricity expressed in Ampere-hour (Ah) or milliamp-hour (mAh). The characteristic energy of a battery is calculated as follows: Voltage (V) x amount of electricity (Ah) = Energy (Wh)

<img style="border: 0px none;" title="What people are saying about "toshiba laptops"" src="http://placeholder.apture.com/ph/370x341_TwitterArticle/" alt="" width="370px" height="341px" />
Example: 19.5V x 4400mAh = 85.8 Wh

We can then speak of the capacity of energy instead of power.
What type of battery is used to make self a laptop?

All batteries sold today with the original notebooks are made in Li-Ion, that is to say that it is a type of lithium batteries with the material (lithium) is the ionic state. These batteries are expensive because lithium is an expensive material and their main advantage is the amount of energy that may have put it into a small volume. Key Benefits: No memory effect or effects very low memory (using principle prematurely battery that prevents it from charging to 100% due to poor maintenance of the battery), Excellent value amount of energy / volume due to the physical properties of lithium, Self-discharge (natural discharge when the battery is unused) negligible which allows not to worry about storage, Secure from the first lithium batteries (in the metallic state) through an electronic circuit integrated inside (in the plastic mold).

Main disadvantages: Price, because of the complexity of manufacturing and material (lithium), Deterioration important when you discharge the battery below 10% (up to 20% of capacity lost in one fell swoop!), Charging current limited because of their internal technology and the dangers of lithium, so the burden may seem slow!, Low resistance to high temperatures: it is advisable to use a temperature of 20-25 ° C, but must not exceed 40 ° C under penalty of really damaging. It should never reach high temperatures of around 75-80 ° C under penalty of explosion (not a joke!), Like all batteries they will wear out over time and nothing can reverse the process.

CAUTION:

The batteries of any kind (batteries, rechargeable batteries, lead acid batteries & lithium …) are highly polluting and should never be thrown in the garbage. They must be completely recycled (all hypermarkets, Bricomarché and rubbish bins have skimmers).
You should never try to repair a battery by opening it to burn or severely intoxicated.
Increase the lifespan of the battery of laptop. As mentioned previously, change the battery is a real investment of around one hundred euros in general, so there are some concepts to know and implement to extend the maximum duration of life.

These precautions are: First buy a battery when the first thing to look (after his power in W) is the date of manufacture: actually as announced earlier battery loses its capacity from its manufacture, so the date is more recent plus the battery capacity is close to that declared on the label.

The notebooks are getting more and more popular these days and more and more people prefer to spend some extra money and to benefit from the many advantages offered by a notebook. There are many of them and the biggest one is the portability. The fact that a laptop is so small, thin and lightweight makes it really portable. So this way you can take it with you anywhere you are going and use it anytime you need to.

For example if you are a business man you can take your laptop while being on a business trip and use it on the way there (in the train or plane) and also use it while you are in the hotel room. Or if you are a student you can take the notebook with you when you are going to the town where you are studying, and use it in your dorm room, and also take it with you when you are traveling back to your town. And the examples can continue, and you can use a notebook no matter what your profession is and no matter where you are going.

A laptop can work just like a desktop computer, with a wire connected to an AC adapter, but the best part is that it can also work without any power source. While you are at home and you are keeping it connected into the AC adapter, it will automatically charge its included battery. There are many kinds of batteries and each one has a different life…some batteries last for just 4-5 hours, while others last for double this time or even more.

There are many companies that are producing good notebooks and Toshiba is one of them. Today we won’t discuss about a model of notebook like usually, but we’ll discuss about some Toshiba laptop chargers. A laptop charger is actually an AC adapter.

<img style="border: 0px none;" title="What people are saying about "AC adapter"" src="http://placeholder.apture.com/ph/370x341_TwitterArticle/" alt="" width="370px" height="341px" />

The adapter from the image is the Toshiba 65 watt global AC Adapter that has a price of 69 dollars. You can choose to buy a new AC adapter if the one you have has broken, or in case you want to have two of them. You can use one just for home, and always leave it under your desk, and use the other one only when you are traveling and keep it in your luggage. This model has a universal 100 / 240 V power input so it means you can use it anywhere around the world, in any country you are traveling. And here are the technical details for this specific AC adapter:

- Power: 100-240 V/ 50-60 Hz Frequency (Universal) input voltage; 19 V x 3.42 A output voltage
- Dimension & Weight: 4.1 ” (W) x 1.9 ” (D) x 1.9 ” (H); 0.56 lb
- DC-IN plug: single barrel
- AC Power Cable: Two-prong type, 6.5 feet long with Velcro cord management
- Environmental: RoHS compatible, Energy Star 2.0
- Compatible with Satellite 1000, 1005, 1100, 1105, 1200, 3000, 3005, A80, A85, A110, L10, L15, L20, L25, L35, L45-S2xxx, L45-S4xxx, M30X, M35X, M40, M45-S1xx, M45-S1xxx, M55-S1xxx (except -S135x), M105-S1xxx, M115-S1xxx, and Tecra L2 series portable computers.

The adapter above was a 65 watts one, and now we’ll discuss about a 120 watt adapter, and we’ll take the Toshiba 120 Watt Global AC Adapter that has a price of 99 dollars. You will have to connect one if its ends to your notebook, and the other into a socket. So this device looks just like this:

And here are the characteristics for this one:
- Power: 100-240 V/ 50-60 Hz Frequency (Universal) input voltage; 19 V x 6.3 A output
- Dimensions: 5.8 ” x 2.5″ x 1.4 ”
- Weight: 1.37 lb
- Compatible with Toshiba Satellite A60, A65, A70, A75, P25, P30 (except P30-S701TD) and P35 series; a converter tip is included to be used with these notebook models: Satellite 1110, 1135, 1900, 1905, 1955, 2435, A35, P10, P15 series
- RoHS compliant
- Power cord and converter tips included
- One year limited warranty So here were some examples of Toshiba laptop chargers. Of course there are many more others, and you can definitely find a new AC adapter for any kind of Toshiba notebook you have. Good luck and have a nice day!

Hewlett Packard is one of the biggest corporate environments on the planet nowadays. There are thousands of local and physical store all over the world. The modern problematic issues nowadays, with the economic and financial recession has managed to contribute to an even more success in what is recalled as profit rates.

There are so many aspects to keep in mind here and this is why the Hewlett Packard Company is one of the largest business owners and local computer manufacturers. Their head quarters are located in the Palo Alto region, in the whole offices are actually making all the strategic and global aspects, not to mention that all the decision and the marketing programs that they will eventually implement after a close consideration and this is why there are so many opportunities now.

Of course, there are many competitive adversaries that have failed even though they were putting on the table a lot of offers and discounts; they were not processing all of this with some good financial strategic planning prior to all. They just wanted to deal with the stock more easily so that they will not lose all of their investment.

This is one of the things many business owners do, but they are not actually dealing it correctly and we cannot say that this is a strategy.

It is more like a desperate movement, by all of them and this is why we are always thinking about it. The Hewlett Packard is also known world wide for its internal communication channels that work really efficient and this is why there are so many issues at stake because people want and need to exchange opinions, some of them good, some of them bad, but over all the whole communication channels are more likely to take the turn of pragmatism.

There are many questions regarding some unfinished issues like the Hp power supply chords.

The problematic issue here was that many people had experienced in the past some issues of technical matter with the power supply chords of some Hp notebook computers, but a much more older version, which all in all had a lot of other negative aspects to face with.

There are some concerns now about the whole adaptable cable length and thickness concern, when the whole focus should go rather on something much more simpler than the day to day chords and cable which can usually drive us crazy when thinking about it. More aspects are needed to be taken in the account here and not be forget about the whole wireless technology that we so proudly use when connecting to the internet .

There are some smart phone chargers that go in the similar way, and once you have entered a room the phone is charged automatically, from a device that is placed in the socket and goes only when the phone battery is less than 50%.

Hewlett Packard is one of the greatest companies in the world at this point, regardless of the fact that the whole economic crisis that has affected so many businesses all over the world. They have adopted a new plan, a new issue to develop and this is why their policies are working really well. Not to mention the fact that the brand itself is constantly getting stronger by the fact that they are also spending money in many corporate social responsibility programs.

They have managed to implement an online system of communication and this is why there are so many issues about the transparency factor of this particular brand. They have constructed an online communication platform where fans, users or simple Hewlett Packard costumers can discuss about all the issues regarding all the problematic aspects they can meet during their so called Hewlett Packard or Hp experience…there are so many aspects to come around here and many people are starting out conversations about certain issues that bothered them or pleased them in comparison to other brands in the same info tech segment of the market or other competitive adversaries in the manufacturing business overall.

The latest trend was about the power supply cord on Hp notebook computers which could be adaptable and this was actually a much discussed feature, when the engineers from Hewlett Packard decided to implement it. It was all actually a simple problematic issue regarding the chord length and how it can be rotated and swirled around an office building for the users that are working with Hp notebook laptops or any other source of info tech gadget which can require a lot of calculations and estimations to do right.

People wanted often longer cables, often shorter, thicker or more stronger, there were some people who had dogs that chewed down the cables and they request a special cable, or to have it made with a special nasty taste so that their pets would stop chewing it down.

It is more and more of a problematic issue and the cables can really get in many people’s way, this is why the best powered supply cord on Hp notebook computers is actually transmitting the necessary energy through a small board where you place the computer.

The Hewlett Packard computer manufacturing industries are actually looking forward to this new product and they are doing it firstly with a small promo event, as we are all used to when it comes for this great computer company.

This is actually why many of the competitors have not managed to keep up with Hp’s incredible politics and not to mention their great financial strategy that goes along perfectly with the marketing maneuvers that they are performing in every local physical store all around the world. Not to mention the fact that they are number one in the selling point advantage classification last year.
