Best Prices For Apple Laptops

There are many good producers of notebooks out there and here are some of the best names in the world: Hewlett Packard, Acer, Sony, Asus, Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, Fujitsu, MSI and also Apple. Today we are going to focus on just one of the companies and we’ll choose Apple. It is a big multinational company that makes many kinds of consumer electronic products and also computer software. It was founded by Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne and Steve Wozniak in 1976 in California. Even though it is a large multinational corporation with subsidiaries all over the world, it still has the headquarters in California. It has about 35,000 employees and offers many good products. You have probably already heard, or you even own on of these products: the Mac computers, the iPod, the iPhone, the Mac OS X operating system, the Apple laptops – the MacBooks, and others.

Today we are going to discuss more about one Apple laptop and from its many models we’ll choose the MacBook Air. There are two available versions and for today we’ll choose the first one which is also the cheapest. It is cheap compared to the other one, but compared to other models of notebooks this one is quite expensive, with a price of 1.499 dollars. And for this price you won’t even get such good technical details. The processor is an Intel Core 2 Duo processor with 1066 MHz frontside bus @ 1.86 Ghz and the RAM memory has 2 GB.

The hard drive has just 120 GB of memory  (and 5400 rpm) while the graphics engine is a NVIDIA GeForce 9400 M with 256 MB of DDR3 SDRAM. So you might ask yourself why do you have to pay so much for a notebook that isn’t even so powerful. Well the first reason will be the design…not only that this laptop is really thin and lightweight but it also has a white and very elegant design. Actually here are the dimensions for the Apple MacBook Air:
-         Height – 0.16 – 0.76 inch (0.4 – 1.94 cm)
-         Width – 12.8 inches (32.5 cm)
-         Depth – 8.94 inches (22.7 cm)
-         Weight – 3.0 pounds (1.36 kg)

So in terms of dimensions you can’t even ask for more. Only a mini notebook is so small and lightweight, but that one has a display screen of 10 inch or less, and this model has a 13.3 inch widescreen display, that supports these resolutions: 1280 by 800 (native), 1152 by 720, 1024 by 640, and 800 by 500 pixels at 16:10 aspect ratio; 1024 by 768, 800 by 600, and 640 by 480 pixels at 4:3 aspect ratio; 720 by 480 pixels at 3:2 aspect ratio. So you can enjoy movies at great quality.

It has ports for audio out, a mini display port, an USB 2.0 port and analog audio output / headphone out (minijack). It also has a built in mono speaker which doesn’t sound that great but after all it’s ok. It also comes with Bluetooth and wireless technologies and has a 40 watt –hour lithium polymer battery that can last for up to 5 hours. The MacBook Air has a keyboard with 78 keys and also a solid state TouchPad with Multi Touch gesture support. It supports operations such as: two-finger scrolling, pinch, rotate, swipe, three-finger swipe, four-finger swipe, tap, double-tap, and drag capabilities. So after all this may not be a really great laptop in terms of features and performance, but it is a good looking notebook that is really slim and lightweight. Enjoy it! And in case you already own this Apple model, we invite you to tell us all about it…tell us about the money you spent for it, about the way it works, and if you are pleased with your purchase or not. Have a great day!
