At the beginning the notebook computers were used mostly by business men, so that they were able to take care of all their business while traveling. So a business man that had a laptop was capable of sending mails while he is in his hotel room, or to edit documents while he is traveling with the plane and so on. But today the laptops are used by all sort of people, no matter what is their profession or their age. And it’s no wonder that more and more people prefer to buy a new notebook instead of buying a new desktop computer. A laptop is capable of doing all the same tasks, but it is much smaller and portable.

There are many companies that are producing notebooks and here are some examples: Hewlett Packard, Acer, Asus, Dell, Toshiba, Lenovo, Fuji, MSI and Apple. Hewlett Packard is the largest technology company in the world, and it is also the best producer of personal computers.  It has the headquarters in California, United States of America but it has many other stores and factories all over the world. It was founded many years ago in 1939, by Bill Hewlett and David Packard and since then it continued to develop and to make huge profit and of course to bring great products for the customers. For example in 2007 Hewlett Packard had revenues of more than 100 billion dollars.

Not only that it is the best vendor of personal computers in the world, but it also produces very good and popular laptops. If you visit the official site of the company you can choose the desired laptop according to different criteria (solutions offered, display screen size, weight, price, battery life, processor and others). There are 6 brands of laptops made by Hewlett Packard, and they are: Compaq Presario, HP, HP Envy, Mini, Pavilion and TouchSmart.

The hp g71 is awful and a terrible idea. I got this laptop as a gift from my wife back in 2008 and I used it for 6 months and it worked impeccably. I thought it was the best desktop replacement ever. However, the trouble started to show. The laptop began to turn off due to overheating and the hard drive makes and awful noise when loading something stored on it. took my laptop in for repairs as it was in the warranty period. HP kept it for one month and eventually gave me a new one.
