AMD Notebook

I’m guessing that almost every person that knows the basic things about computers has come to a point when the question “what’s the difference between AMD and Intel processors” popped in their heads. The truth is that for a long time the difference between them was like the difference between Pepsi and Coca Cola, if you know what I mean. However, it is true that slower AMD processors provide the same result that faster Intel processors offer, but at different speed (take for instance the case in which the AMD at 1.66GHz was the same as an INTEL on 1,8GHz). This is why, in what follows you will be presented to a couple of AMD laptop computers to see both their features and their prices.
First on out AMD laptop computers list is the LENOVO ThinkPad X100e that, obviously, comes with a 1.0 GHz AMD Athlon processor that is powered by 1GB of RAM. The laptop is not as fast as others, but it does a good job as a home use laptop. The laptop has also an 11.6-inch screen and a 160GB hard drive, good for storing all your stuff, like documents, music, photos and games. The laptop is also great as a business laptop, because it will allow you to perform your tasks and applications without any problems. The price of the laptop is also cheap, so that anyone can afford it, and it costs around $429.99 at amazon.com.

The next laptop is the HP Pavilion DM3-1035DX that also comes with an AMD Athlon Neo X2 dual-core processor L335 1.6GHz that is powered by 3GB of RAM. Another thing about the laptop is that it has a huge 320GB hard drive, good for stocking almost anything you have, but it doesn’t have an optical drive, so you should get an external drive, just in case. However, you get great battery life and light weight, so you’ll be able to carry it around with you in your travels but also to stay connected with family and friends thanks to the wireless connectivity and the built-in webcam. The price for this system is around $749.89, which even though it seems a lot, it isn’t if you give a second thought to the amazing features it embeds.

Out last stop is at the Acer Aspire AS5538-1672 LX.PE90X.121 Notebook PC. The laptop has, of course, a 1.2GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core L310 processor running on 4GB of DDR2 SDRAM memory, which makes it the best in the entertainment department, helped too by the 64-bit Windows Vista Home Premium operating system that comes with a multitude of superb multimedia features and also thanks to the 15.6-inch HD Widescreen Acer CineCrystal LED-backlit TFT LCD display with a native resolution of 1366 x 768 and a cinematic 16:9 aspect ratio. Although it has so many great features, among which the 250GB hard drive, good for storing personal stuff, and the 8X SuperMulti optical drive, the laptop is not even that expensive, as it costs around $499.96.
