Between 200 and 300 dollars it is impossible not to find a pretty good netbook which answers your everyday requirements. Dedicated to networking, these models are recommended for both those with low budgets and for those who are in need of an additional computer for traveling. Three of the cheapest laptops on market are Asus Eee PC900SD, Gateway LT2023u and Compaq Mini 102. The first one, Asus Eee PC900SD, delivers a reasonable performance including a tiny display, Solid State drive (instead of HDD) plus a perfect processor which fits the performance. We name here a 8,9 inch display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 8 GB SSD memory and 512 MB of DDR2 RAM system memory that along with an Intel Celeron Single Core processor clocked at 800 MHz fits your everyday activity.




The model also uses a Mobile Intel Graphics Media Accelerator, 2 in 1 media card reader that supports Multi Media card and Secure digital so you can transfer important data from external drives to the netbook and also integrated wireless LAN, 802.11 b/b WLAN plus Wi-Fi, along with a 4 cell Lithium Ion battery and an integrated 0,3 MP webcam. The whole configuration is sustained also by Microsoft Windows XP Home operating system.



Another cheap laptop is Gateway’s LT2023 model. This one is priced at about 270 dollars (depending on store) and delivers a reasonable performance taking account of the price, configuration that includes HDD memory, pretty good processor and larger display. More exactly, it features a 10,1 inch LED backlit display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 1 GB of DDR2 RAM system memory (533 MHz) which together with an Intel Atom Single Core processor clocked at 1,6 GHz helps you work more applications at once, this thing being also sustained by a Microsoft Windows 7 Starter operating system.

Apart from all these, the model provides an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950 GPU, built in stereo speakers, integrated microphone and webcam so you can communicate online with relatives or best friends plus a 3 cell Lithium Ion battery that permits you work unplugged for up to 3 hours. Finally, concerning Compaq’s Mini 102 cheap laptop, this one costs the same 270 dollars (depending on store) and delivers better performance, including here a 10,1 inch LED backlit anti-glare display with 1024 x 600 pixel resolution, 1 GB of DDR2 800 MHz RAM system memory and 160 GB hard disk capacity that allows you store plenty of data, documents, favorite music and many other stuff.



The model comes along with an Intel Atom Single Core processor which runs at 1,6 GHz, a 5 in 1 media card reader plus integrated webcam for online communication and also a 3 cell Lithium Ion battery that helps you stay unplugged for a couple of hours at least. As for the operating system, it uses Microsoft Windows XP Home version.
